These wooden clogs were made as a result of a visit to the Open Air Museum in Arnhem. There were a pair of wedding clogs in the display case. The clogs are usually made of Willow or Poplar wood and extremely peeled to use for woodcutting. I made these clogs after my father explained the basics of carving. He still made the soles with clog nails. They are also treated with bite and wax as it was traditionally used. In the 70s clogs were fashion and I have worn them a lot under my dresses. Now it is almost my father's birthday and I want to place these clogs on the internet as a tribute, so that this jewel can be displayed
